Fairfield Memorial Hospital Signs with Alphanumeric
Systems for TotalCare Managed Services

January 12, 2006, Raleigh, NC—Alphanumeric
Systems announced today that Fairfield Memorial Hospital (FMH)
has joined a growing list of small-to-medium-sized organizations
that have signed contracts with the technology firm to provide
its TotalCare managed services offering. Formally praised by a
number of those clients, TotalCare is a low-cost suite of offerings
designed specifically for small to medium organizations, providing
flexible, secure IT management for servers, applications, networks,
and desktops.
Of the various TotalCare packages Alphanumeric
has made available, FMH has chosen to outsource a single-point-of-contact
call center,
a help desk that includes support for applications specific to
FMH, remote diagnostics and support, monitoring services, and
on-site
support.
Says Mike Gillespie, head of Alphanumeric’s Healthcare Solutions
group, “Our customers, especially those in the healthcare
marketplace, require their business systems to function at their
peak performance 24x7– it truly is a matter of life and death.
The proactive nature of our TotalCare offering gives our customers
the most cost-effective approach to deal with the increasing complexity
of managing their business systems – improving the return
on investment of those systems and keeping their employees productive.”
Facing
a growing level of IT sophistication and complexity, organizations
nationwide are trending toward allowing trusted providers of
IT services to proactively address their technology needs. Building
on its 26 years of industry presence and client relationships,
Alphanumeric is well positioned to provide this simple, affordable
technology solution to small and medium-sized organizations that
need to remain focused on achieving their own business goals
instead
of worrying about their information technology systems.
Feedback
from existing small to medium-sized TotalCare customers indicates
the solution has hit the mark in allowing Alphanumeric’s
IT experts to address impending IT problems before the client’s
business is disrupted. Says David Kline, Chief Financial Officer
for Fairfield Memorial Hospital, "Our organization needs to
focus on what we do best, which is to provide compassionate, quality
health services to meet the needs of the citizens of Fairfield
County. Alphanumeric's TotalCare services ensure that we have stable
and efficient technology to do just that."
In addition to the TotalCare remote monitoring
and management service, additional options clients may choose include
access to
the Alphanumeric help desk, scheduled preventive maintenance, and
monthly analysis and planning meetings. More information on Alphanumeric’s
