Alphanumeric Systems, Inc. seeks to hire more than 65 capable customer service agents to provide help desk support for a major project. Contracts will run from May 21 through June (approximately 45 days), with flexible shift options, including nights and weekends.

Successful candidates for the Help Desk Analyst position will demonstrate the following qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills, including being punctual and aware during shifts to answer calls
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work will with a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; focus on listening and questioning skills
  • Attention to detail; accurate data entry
  • Good phone skills
  • Professional demeanor, previous customer service experience a plus
  • Ability to handle high volume of calls, remain productive during slow times, multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations
  • Ability to follow appropriate call scripts and workflow
  • Ability to work with and without direct supervision

The successful Help Desk Analyst candidate will be responsible for the following duties

Job Duties:

  • Answers phone calls from users
  • Enter required information into ticket system
  • Verify end user information, including specific location and contact information
  • Verify system training pre-requisites were met for access
  • Verify security templates were assigned within system
  • Perform basic triage to determine issue and document details in ticket
  • Ensure tickets were assigned to correct application group and/or support team
  • Ensure correct severity/priority level was assigned to each ticket
  • Perform data entry for fax tickets
  • Contact end users to secure additional information for incomplete fax tickets
